The safe way to send
large, sensitive files
SecureDocs replaces risky email attachments. Upload a file up to 250 MB, name one recipient, and share a link. A one-time code goes only to that recipient's email, you see exactly when they downloaded it, and the file is deleted from the server after 10 days.
Email was never built
for this
Every attachment you send becomes a permanent copy you no longer control. If the recipient's mailbox is ever compromised, years of your attachments go with it.
SecureDocs delivers your valuable information securely, and then takes it off the table.
Sent once, exposed forever
Stuck under 25 MB. The file lives in the recipient's inbox indefinitely, can be forwarded freely, and you never know if or when it was opened.
Delivered, confirmed, then gone
Up to 250 MB. A one-time code goes to the recipient's email only, you see when it was downloaded, and the file is deleted after 10 days.
Four steps, no training needed
Upload and name the recipient
Drag in a file up to 250 MB and enter one recipient email address. SecureDocs creates a private link for that file.
Share the link
Email the link straight from SecureDocs, or copy it into your own message. The link alone cannot open the file.
Recipient requests a code
On the link page the recipient clicks Get code. A 6-digit code goes only to the email you named and is valid for 10 minutes.
One download per code
The code works for a single download. To download again, they request a new code. Every download is logged with the time.
Built so a leaked link is still useless
One code, one download
Each code is consumed by a single download. Once a code has been used, or entered wrong five times, it is dead. Every new download needs a new code sent to the recipient.
The code goes to the recipient only
The link page never asks for an email address. The code is sent to the address you entered, shown only in masked form. If the link is forwarded, nobody else can use it.
You see when it was downloaded
The details page shows the download count and the exact time of the last download, so you know your file arrived and when.
Deleted automatically after 10 days
Expired files are removed from the server. If the recipient's email is hacked a month later, there is nothing left to find. No attachment lingers in anyone's inbox.
Up to 250 MB per file
Ten times the typical attachment limit. No more splitting ZIP files, resending, or bounced mail.
Revoke or regenerate anytime
Sent to the wrong person? Revoke the link and the file is deleted immediately. Need to resend? Regenerate a fresh link, and the old one stops working.
A CPA firm at tax season
A representative scenario, based on how our accounting clients handle client documents every spring.
Every March the firm emailed finished returns, W-2s and bank statements to clients as PDF attachments. Larger packages bounced and had to be split. Each client's Social Security number then sat in a personal Gmail inbox indefinitely, and the firm had no record of who had actually opened what.
Staff upload each package to SecureDocs, enter the client's email, and send the link. The client requests a code, which arrives only in their own inbox, and downloads the file. The details page shows the firm exactly when it was downloaded.
Nothing sensitive sits in email. If a client's email account is phished a year later, the attacker finds only expired links to files that no longer exist. And the firm can show the client exactly when the file was delivered and that it is now gone.
